Iphone 13 Pro Max / Archer AX6000
1) My router, constantly changes the channel on the 5 ghz band, even setting the channel manually.
2) There are recurring connection losses on my iphone 13 pro max and my ipad Gen 5.
It is very common to be connected, and after some time, with the iphone locked, unlock and be disconnected from the wifi network. This happens on both iPhone and iPad.
Iphone support wifi 6 AX and ipad winfi 5 AC.
Can someone help me? I've done tests on several channels (36, 52dfs, 100dfs, and 149), the problem persists. I also tested at 160mhz and 80mhz widths. Can I hope we get resolution in a future firmware?
Thanks

This sounds more like an iOS issue but not a router issue. You can check similar posts in Apple community as this one, where there are some helpful suggestions, you can give it a try also.
Regarding the AX6000, I would suggest confirm the wireless settings, such as channel, channel width, you can try to run a Wi-Fi analyzer and choose one that gets less interference with your neighbors, change the wireless security to WPA2-PSK AES, then monitor again.

How did you observe the fixed channel still changing automatically? Which channel you were trying to fix on the AX6000, and which channel does it switch to?
Are there range extenders connecting to the AX6000?

As stated, use wpa 2 . My devices disconnect frequently when using wpa3. Channel change should not occur if manually set.
i have learnt from my ownership of this router to reboot after every change

I don't use extenders.
I use an application (INSSIDER) to measure the signal and channels. The change takes place on different channels. It has already happened that I manually put it on channel 36 160 mhz and when I see it on channel 100 80 mhz. Or put it on 100 and it is effectively on 36. Eventually it switches to channels 149 to 161. Recently I had to reset the factory defaults to be able to manually set the channel I wanted, in this case 36.
I am considering installing the beta version. Is there any action on the wifi part, or just vpn?

Are you saying the beta firmware provided by TP-Link here? I'm not sure whether the beta firmware helps improve the wireless, as stated by Kevin, it adds the support for VPN Client. You may give it a try but I guess. If that doesn't work, you can still install the official version back.
