Okay Kevin. Is there any development plan for the updates I mentioned above? I would expect the above comments to be taken into account, because as you can see, these are not only my individual feelings.

Hello Kevin.
I updated Archer AX6000 v1.0 to version 1.3.0 Build 20221208 rel.45145(4555).
Some of my observations:
1. For such a router, the period between updates is too long. Over a year is a lot.
2. There is no EasyMesh.
3. For the Samba server, it is still not possible to add additional users and specify access rights to directories. Two default users: admin and visit are not enough. In addition, they have access to the entire disk resource. That's not the point.
4. Removed the Traffic Monitor feature - no comment.
5. For known devices, there are still too often cases when devices connected to the router fall into the list of unknown devices.
6. There are too few icons in the Tether application for this router that can be associated with logged in devices.
7. In the Tether application, messages about connecting a new device come in the form of push notifications. And this message should appear in the window symbolized by an envelope icon next to the device name. Unfortunately, nothing falls into the list of notifications.
Generally, if I expected such support and development for this router, I would not buy it. Unfortunately.
Hello @Jacek71, thank you very much for the feedback.
We will make sure to pass these requests along to our team, however, we don't have any specific details that I can share around if all the improvements or optimization that you mentioned above will come true, or when they might.
I will try and provide an update to the community if we see the introduction of these features or improvements.

Hello.
I updated my Archer AX6000 v1.0 to version 1.3.0 Build 20221208 rel.45145(5553) just a week ago (THE FOOLISH THING I HAVE EVER DONE),
and my wifi now is a mess... I have one mesh enable and 3 different rx605 (one been rx505) between the house and everything used to work perfectly, even with
smart connect enable (I have seen people talking that this option is garbage ), and everything work flawless, however, since I updated, its been a rocky hill,
I have sudden drops with almost all my devices(ip cameras, chromecasts, tablets, smartphones, smart doorbell, smart tvs),They loose connection at least 5 times in an hour.
Sometimes my wife have internet but I don't, and we are next to each other and I need to reset everything so hopefully, my WiFi will start to work again. Its been awful, and I have already 5 years with this configuration and have never experienced this horrible situation until now, I got kids, everyone uses internet in the house for work and entertainment... Im considering in changing everything.
The only device connected by cable is my pc, everything else is wireless.
Someone having same issues?

@Owen007
Prior to the upgrade, if you had added TP-Link ID, you wouldn't be able to login using the router password, but now, both login methods (TP-link login & Local root password) are possible.

Hello @Lacayo
Thank you for posting on the TP-Link Community. Sorry to hear that the firmware update broke up the stable connection.
To address the issue and try to figure it out, we would like to confirm the below details:
After updating the AX6000 firmware, are all wireless client devices dropping the internet connection randomly except the wired PC?
Can you confirm if this PC is connected to the AX6000 or one of the extenders? How about the LED on the AX6000? Is it solid blue all the time when the dropping issue happens? How about the LEDs on the extenders, especially the signal LEDs, are they solid blue?
Is Smart Connect on the AX6000 still enabled after updating the AX6000 firmware?
This new 1.3.0 version added support for the VPN Client, which may optimize or change the working mechanism of the system. Could you please try resetting the AX6000 and the three extenders to factory defaults, then reconfigure them from scratch and add the extenders back to the mesh system to observe if the connectivity will be restored?

@Kevin_Z Since upgrading to 1.3.0 my wifi has been very unreliable. Many devices will connect but not have internet. Restarting the client device will not fix this, just restarting the router. A few smart home devices now refuse to connect at all. This is on 2.4 and 5ghz and I've tried playing with the settings. It's extremely frustrating and it seems a downgrade is not possible. Any suggestions?

@Kevin_Z I'm encountering the same issues as @Lacayo and @Bhjs77 with devices often disconnecting, not wanting to connect at all, and even showing prompts with incorrect password when connecting via a wireless OneMesh PLC.
I didn't have any stability issues with the previous update, yet this one is quite temperamental 🙂
