Model: Archer MR400
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hi, I understand the two external antennas are 4G LTE antennas and are different from the ordinary wireless antennas. I also know It is not recommended to replace them.

I want to replace them with external MIMO antennas, to improve the 4G signal to my remote property, and improve the wifi signal for external smart appliances.

By changing these antennas, will I improve the wifi signal as well?

Any suggestions on what antennas to look for, I do understand it should have SMA male plug

Hi, what is the hardware version of your MR400? I will then double check if the external antennas are LTE antennas.

Besides, if they are indeed LTE antennas, changing the LTE antennas will not improve WiFi signal, and WiFi antennas are inside the router and unable to be replaced.
