Do you mean if you click the "Wireless Scanner" button in the RE450's configuration GUI, then it does not list the SSID of your 5 GHz Wi-Fi network?

 

Does it recognize any 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks at all? (perhaps your neighbor's Wi-Fi, or so)

 

Anyway, you could try if a Factory Defaults Restore might solve the problem (should be in the "Backup & Restore" menu). Sometimes this can be necessary after performing a firmware update.

 

Thanks for the response i have done factory reset couple of times its not working....yah i could only see neighbors wifi network

On which channel number is the wireless router whose signal you want to extend broadcasting?

 

Can you change the 5 GHz channel of the wireless router temporarily to channel number 36 and check if the RE450 is then able to see it?
