Hi

So I have been using this router for some time now. While playing online FPS games I always felt there was an issue with my internet since I was lagging, getting ping spikes, and stutters (very micro). I tried everything but no help. Recently I came across the problem as buffer bloat. I did some research, switched on Qos limited my bandwidth speeds and my lag was 60% gone. I was hitting more accurate shots and had time to react to opponents and stuff. After checking on different sites I am still getting buffer bloat. Before enabling Qos it would give me a score of D-F. After enabling the option I have a score of B. What can I do to mitigate this problem completely? My download speeds are 200 Mbps up and down. My loaded ping is 9 ms and unloaded is 20 ms.

Hello @DDD49

Are you connected to the C6 via cable or via wifi? I would suggest you refer to this guide to do some basic troubleshooting if the ping is high when connected to the router via cable:

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2723/ (Case 3)

If this doesn't help, please connect the computer directly to the ISP modem, and check if there are lagging or ping spikes, what are the results also.
