I am reporting very high bufferbloat with QoS enabled, while with QoS disabled the situation improves but it is still not acceptable for a router dedicated to gaming.

- QoS enabled

- QoS disabled

QoS prioritizes network traffic to ensure optimal performance for critical applications. It identifies and classifies different types of traffic (e.g., video streaming, gaming, web browsing) based on protocols, ports, or IP addresses, and assigns priority levels to each type of traffic. For example, video streaming might be given higher priority over general web browsing.

When checking for bufferbloat with third-party software, there is a possibility that low-priority traffic or data being analyzed by the software when the QoS is enabled on the router. This can lead to noticeable differences in performance when QoS is turned on versus off.

Except for the bufferbloat, are you experiencing any issues while gaming? We can focus on those aspects to explore potential improvements.
