M5 Main turn red and loses connection frequently
Hello,
I recently have been getting disconnects from my deco m5 system. Even devices that are hardwired like my Nvidia shield are having issue. When I plug those same devices directly into the AT&T BGW210 router they are stable. When I turn on the wireless network on my AT&T modem and connect my phone and laptop to that it is stable also. I can actually work. I have AT&T fiber terminating at my house from there it goes to a BGW210 Gateway provided by AT&T. I have one lan port on the BGW210 plugged the main deco. The other 2 deco devices are upstairs and connected wireless to the main.
I have had the deco for over a year now and it has been very solid up until about 2 days ago. It started every since a power outage. The light on the main deco turns red every 5-20 minutes and I have to wait for the connection to come back. It is frustrating because I am WFH. I know the problem is with the TP deco devices . What is teh best resolution for this as my wireless range is limited to the BGW210 which does cover the whole house like the deco devices.
1. Do I reset the deco ? How do i do tis?
2. Do I swap out the main deco with one upstairs?
