I have a wifi router from the internet provider.

I want to extend the wifi network in the house. But I want to extend it, but with one SSID and password.

I bought a archer C80, can that be used for it?  Or do I buy another system. I can use cable connections on the ground level.

@dirkfl

What is the brand and model of the host router? As per your description, it seems you are looking for a mesh system, am I right? If that is the case, Archer C80 may not match your requirement, it cannot build a mesh network with other brand modems or routers.

However, you can still create the same SSID and password for its wireless networks to be the same as on the host router, you can try configuring it as an AP mode (Case 1), then set the same SSID and password for the wireless networks to check if that can do what you require.
