Model: TL-MR6400
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I’ve got a weird problem connecting multiple devices to my TP link 4G LTE Router TL-MR6400 (Sim card; works fine).

- my “old” Microsoft Surface Pro is connected through WiFi, works fine!

- newer Windows 10 laptop:

a) connected via Lan, works fine!

b) connected Via WiFi:  Wifi connected, no Internet...

- recent Nokia tablet (Android 11): Wifi connected, no Internet...

- recent Nokia Phone (Android 11): Wifi connected, no Internet...

I believe I looked through (almost) all the online instructions (reboot, re-connect, restart), to solve this problem, but did not succeed until now. Does anyone have a clue?

Kind regards,

Marc

  @Aldus073

Hi,if you disconnect the “old” Microsoft Surface Pro from the WiFi, will the newer Windows 10 laptop, Nokia tablet or Phone connect internet via WiFi?

Please also confirm if your SIM card has any restrictions such as only for phone/tablet, or not allowing to share internet for multiple devices etc., and who is the SIM carrier?

In addition, what is the hardware version and firmware version of your MR6400? please check it on Advanced->System Tools->Firmware Upgrade page.

 Hi @Sunshine

I think I have the same problem when I start to use multiple devices through WiFi
I'm using Telkomsel (Indonesia SIM Provider).  the only thing I know is when this happens, reboot wont help but factory reset did help when I start using only 1 device
but when I started using multiple devices then this issues happens again, and I have do factory reset again

and also I tried to change the primary DNS, but It's looks like no effect at all, I don't know because when I see the internet status page, the primary DNS still using default one from SIM provider

is there any solution for this? that will be very helpfull

EDIT: another weird things maybe I need to mention is when I using VPN on my device, the connection is normal, so DNS problem maybe?

Regards,
Dridss
