Hi,
I have a WiFi Extender with ethernet port. I have this in the nearest position to run a cable to my out house where a TP Link N300 AP is located. I will not connect. When I wired direct to my router it works. Is there something I'm missing here?

It sounds like the Access Point is not configured properly yet, can I know the model number and the Led status of your device model number start with RE XX, TL-WR, TL-WA etc.
