Model: Archer VR2800
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: ver 1

Hi Guys!

Having failed to setup my Modem router whilst using the web management page.

I changed a setting to router only.

This caused the router to reset and i no longer can access it via my web browser or TP-Link tether.

Basically I was attempting to upgrade from my N600 (set as a Router) being a novice I appear to have Locked myself out of the settings.

Can anyone help with some advise please?

Thanks.

  @Newby3

Here is a link to the user's manual of the VR2800.

https://static.tp-link.com/1910012125_Archer%20VR2800(EU)_V1_UG.pdf

Check out section "4. 5. 1. Wireless Router Mode" for how to configure the VR2800 as a regular wireless router.

To be able to get back into configuration GUI the easiest way would be to restore the VR2800 to factory settings.

From the above linked manual:

"Reset" (button on the back of the router) -> "Press and hold down for 8 seconds to reset the modem router into factory default settings."
