Model: Archer AX10
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: V1.2 FW: 1.1.6 build 20210108 rel. 60533

Hi, i recently bought the AX10, at first was ok and the devices connected to the "5g network".

In a few days the connection to the 5g has stopped.

I could find the "5g network" and connect but with no internet, i got the "Exclamation mark" near the signal mark, the indication was the connection was very poor.

In the other hand, the 2.4 network was ok, and the indication said high speed connection.

After few attempts to reconnct to 5g, i think that its working only in short range - Very short range, so if im in 3 meters away i will lose the 5g connection..

so we stoped use the 5g with all the devices, and moved to the 2.4

Any suggestion how to use the 5g pls?

I notice that there is framework upgrade available: 1.2.5 build 20220117 rel. 52085

Is this FW stable? Should it fix the 5g connection?

Ty.

Hello @Lion_22, thank you for reaching out to us and welcome to the TP-Link community.

Firstly, I would suggest you upgrade the router to the latest firmware version, then monitor if the issue persists.

If unfortunately, the issue persists, please check the 5GHz wireless settings on the AX10, such as channel, you can try to install and run a Wi-Fi analyzer to review the networks around you, then choose one with less interference, then monitor again.

Meanwhile, please check the following article to be sure that the router is in a perfect location, which will give you a best performance:
