Archer C6 as wifi extender problem
Hello,
I have problem with my Archer C6 that is set as wifi repeater. I have connected it with a LAN cable from main router to this one. It normally works without any problems but if I set same SSID and all settings for wifi same as it is on the first router, my mobile device doesn´t reconecting automatically and every time I have to turn wifi on mobile device on and off to reconect.
Where can be the problem?
Thanks for help!

If setting the SSIDs on C6 different than these on the main router makes re-connection smoother keep them that way - you're not gaining anything if you set them identical.
If you're not happy with this scenario the other thing you could do is to try the beta FW from this thread and test if there's an improvement - you can revert back to the latest official FW at any time.

@vasik006 Thanks for suggestion. I will try beta FW. It worked for me before but then I needed to reset C6´s settings and set it back as it was but "auto reonnect" was not working anymore.

@vasik006 So if I select .bin file it starts updating but then it says "Invalid file type".

Check your FW region on the router bottom sticker.
The beta in question is for C6 v2 EU region.
On your original issue - try forgetting the wireless networks on your mobiles and re-add them again - then test if that will resolve the issue.

@vasik006 Sorry for replying late. I tried forgetting wi-fi on my phone but unfortunately it didn´t help...

Did you upgrade the C6 with the beta FW successfully ? Here's the link for C6 v2 - Archer C6(EU)_V2_20201030.
Here's how to upgrade the FW manually - Case 1.
Turn the C6 Smart Connect feature OFF. Turn the C6 OneMesh feature OFF (this is possible with the beta FW).
Keep the C6 wireless SSIDs (2.4GHz & 5GHz) different than these on your main router.
Use this guide for configuring C6 in AP mode - Case 1 (LAN cable should connect Main router LAN port => Archer C6 WAN port).
That's the best you can achieve with Archer C6 configured in AP mode to extend your main router wireless coverage.
