  @MrGrumpy

Try factory reset the router using its reset button on the back (use a paperclip or a toothpick to press until you hear/feel a click):

After a successfully reset you can re-configure the C6 from scratch.

If it still doesn't work as expected contact your TP-Link local support.

TP-Link website is using a geolocation and according to your public IP address its pages are displayed in the appropriate language.

If it's not displayed in the correct language, according to your region, you could change that by simply modifying the URL like this:

If the URL in your browser is in French: https://www.tp-link.com/fr/support/download/archer-c6/

For English change the URL to: https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/archer-c6/

If this was helpful click on the arrow pointing upward to make it blue. If this solves your issue, click the star to make it blue and mark the post as a "Recommended Solution".

  @terziyski Tried that repeatedly, can't contact local support becuase it keeps going to France! I have now returned the item

The French thing is bizarre as i get taken there from teh UK help site. UK based and using a VPN in the UK, all do the same
