Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.5.7 Build 20210819 Rel. 43499

Hello,

How do I disconnect a device using Automation?

Here is what I did:

  1. I set the time
  2. Adds trigger that when a device is connected... (disconnect it during the set time)
  3. Selected action device
  4. Now here in add action, I only have 2 options. High Priority and Delay Action when triggered.

Thanks.

Hi, would you mind telling me what you wish to achieve via automation in detail, like when the smartphone is connected to the Wi-Fi, turn on the smart light in the hallway?

@FruitNinja

Thank you for getting back to me.

Since you can not see an action to disconnect the trigger devices, I am afraid the current request could not be achieved by automation.

If you do not mind, the bed time under parental control might be a good idea.

Hi, it seems like the Parental Controls is not working as intended. The device can't access the internet even after the set time. What could be the problem? Thanks.

@FruitNinja

Hi, can you send some screenshots about the configuration of the bedtime under parental control?

By the way, the device could not have internet service for 24h or actually, the bedtime would be delayed for a few hours?

At the same time, could you please go to Deco APP>Overview>settings on the top left>help>contact us>suggestions and add the APP log to us?

Thank you very much.

Hi, here is my configuration:

"By the way, the device could not have internet service for 24h or actually, the bedtime would be delayed for a few hours?"

No internet service. The bed time schedule is on time, but still no internet even after it ends.

"At the same time, could you please go to Deco APP>Overview>settings on the top left>help>contact us>suggestions and add the APP log to us?"

Log sent.

Thanks.

@FruitNinja

Thank you for getting back to me and I got the email.

I see the spent online time is 2.1h and there is also blocked history under the insight.

In this way, I think the internet service on the TV should be ok.

Since the TV is under Child profile, there are some blocked contents by default. I guess maybe the TV programs have been clarified into one of the categories and blocked.

In this way, could you please move the TV to the Adult profile and check again?
