I have the Archer AX20 version 1.20. Downloaded and installed the corresponding beta firmware on 1-20-22. Since then the AX20 has been maintaining an uninterrupted network connection. (Date of this post is 2-4-22). Thanks for the firmware update. I will be trying the final version soon.

@Saleheen Looks like they took it down since they posted the final version. The name of the file is ax20v1.20-up-ver1-3-2-P1[20210901-rel69096]_beta_20220117.zip. I downloaded it when it first became available. I just installed the final version (ax20v1.20-up-ver1-3-5-P1[20211231-rel63820]_nosign_2021-12-31_17.50.16.bin) today around 11:00am central time. Obviously won't know if that version is stable until some time passes. If you can't find the beta version, I'd be willing to email it to you.

@skoober18 I wish I could have told you earlier, but the 1.3.5 Build 20211231 rel.63820(5553) is broken at least for me, WiFi gets disconnected frequently getting slow speed contentiously, the earlier version (V1.2_210901 ) was awesome except for some UI issues on the web portal.

Also, I wish I could downgrade to V1.2_210901

@Saleheen Good news Saleheen! I just successfully used the local firmware update feature in the router control app to downgrade to the previous version (1.3.2 Build 20210902 rel.16909(5553). Like I said, if you want, I can email you the file.

Would the warranty still apply if we did that? Also, the router will receive a new update?

For this version (1.3.2 Build 20210902 rel.16909(5553) I can download it from the TP-Link website, but I am worried about doing so. My router was just purchased a few months ago, so I do not want to lose the warranty too early. Thank you so much for expressing your desire to send me a file via email.

@Saleheen Shouldn't affect warranty. I was told to use the beta firmware by tp-link tech to see if it would fix the network dropping issue. If they're authorizing it I don't think they can void a warranty over it. And you can disable the auto-update feature in the router control app, so it will stay at that version until you manually choose to update.

@Saleheen As far as I know, the only "firmware" that would void a warranty would be 3rd party versions that are intended to invoke privileges or features not authorized by the manufacturer. If you want to be certain, contact tp-link support (support.usa@tp-link.com) and ask. I'm sure they'll be ok with you using the firmware version that works! LOL!
