  @TP-Link My mesh network is currently made up out of Deco X60 devices. What would be my benefits for adding the Deco XE75 to this network?

  @MLVC

Hi, If you only add one Deco XE75, except the normal 2.4ghz and 5ghz for mobile clients, there is another 6G wireless network for the 6G compatible devices.

And if you have 2*Deco XE75, the 6Ghz could be used as both the wireless backhaul between 2*X75 to increase the bandwidth of the satellite XE75,  and the wireless radio for 6G compatible devices.

Currently, if you do not have any Wi-Fi 6E clients and the internet bandwidth is about 1G, Deco X60 or X90 would be better if you want to add one more Deco node.

 Thank you very much.

Best regards.

  @David-TP  So there's only an advantage when adding two or more XE75? Thanks for the reply!

  @TP-Link Please amend the 6Ghz band option to toggle as dedicated client connection and not function as wireless backhaul if wired backhaul is present.

Also allow unified SSID naming across all bands and have the router automatically assign devices based on connection speed/signal strength. Why only the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz band can have the same SSID name?

RE: 6Ghz Wireless Backhaul

Is it possible to set the Deco NOT to use it as wireless backhaul at all? Not a shared wireless backhaul + client if a wired backhaul is already in effect? Not a mixed setting.

RE: SSID name

Are you saying if I set the 6Ghz with the same SSID as the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz band, then the Deco is smart enough to pass the device between the three? My understanding is that current state of the Deco firmware, only 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz are being routed to the best band. While 6Ghz is always a separate band that the Deco is unable to pass the device to the other bands. Can you confirm?

Re:AXE5400 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6E System Deco XE75

  @TP-Link Oh Oh! my main XE75 Deco seems to have an issue.. the first LAN port doesn't seem to work properly anymore (counting from top to bottom)?!

if there is "any" going trough it's like using a 1200 baud modem.. when i use the second or thirth port it seems to work fine for the moment..

powercycled the Deco several times but it doesn't seem to make any difference... any logical things i could try?

both Decos run FW:

1.1.6 Build 20220804 Rel. 44443

  @Ou-Tannu

Hi, thanks for the feedback.

When you said "if there is "any" going trough it's like using a 1200 baud modem", I don't think I get it correctly and could you please paraphrase again for you? Is the device connected to first LAN port on longer be recognized by Deco, like "cable unpluged"?

By the way, How long have you had Deco XE75 and did it use to work before?

Thank you very much.

  @David-TP

when i plug a cable in.. there is an actual link. my TL-SG108E tells me it should be a 1000mbit link..  but for some unknown reason when using the first LAN port on the DECO it barely gets any traffic trough..

a simple "ping" even times out..  when it should pass trough lan port 1..

when using lan ports 2 or 3 it works like it should do!

and i've ordered my XE75s on the 18th of May 2022..

  @TP-Link

I currently have 3 Deco M5's looking to replace with the XE75. On the M5'S I can manually set the signal source of what node connects to what node. Can I do this with the XE75 as well?
