Okay so I'm short I've followed the instructions that were provided in the box and connected all the cables as were shown but even after all of that the dsl light doesn't turn on or flash meaning the internet connection has failed yet when I attach it to the old one it connects fine I've tried to switch out the lines and resetting the device and every time the same thing happens 
any solutions would be appreciated greatly
