Firmware Version: 1.5.1

I have an issue with the mobile phone (OnePlus 6T) I use with the Deco app connecting to the Deco X60 wifi but not having internet access (I see the wifi icon with an exclamation mark).

It can be connected just fine, then the phone sleeps after x minutes, and when I wake it up to check something, the connection between the phone and the Deco is fine, but the phone has no internet access. But I can see that it has been allocated an IP address.

I can get internet access by turning the wifi off and on again on the mobile, as it then connects correctly.

Sometimes, I get the wifi icon and exclamation mark, but the phone still has internet access, so I'm very confused!

Can anyone help?

In case it helps anyone, I've turned off Fast Roaming and Beamforming in the Advanced menu, and so far the problem hasn't reappeared.

I'll update this if it does.

@PacoJones have you had any problems during the set up of your TP link? I am also using OnePlus 6T but I'm using Deco M4 and I have no internet access after creating my own network. I am using PLDT here in the Philippines. I hope you can help me since I really need internet connection to work on my thesis as I am a graduating student. Thank you very much!

Hi, based on your description, it seemed like your Deco hasn’t been set up successfully which might be a little different from the OP.

If after a quick setup, the Deco is still red not solid white, I suggest you could have a look at this link:

@Ocampo Hi, like TP-Link support said, it sounds like your setup is wrong. My problem is fixed since I made the changes I mentioned. Good luck.
