Model: Archer MR600
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.4.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 210727 Rel.33453n

Hi all

After problems with a MR600v1, it have been replaced with a new MR600v2.

Now I'd like limiting bandwidth for Microsoft Teams by QoS: In the next days I have to take a 4+4 hours company course that will require 10...20GB for 8 hours! I have to limit speed to about 400kbps using QoS. The problem is that I can only set a minimum 5% of the maximum speed! If I set 100Mbps max, 5% is 5Mbps, 2.25GB/h! If I set 50Mbps max, it will be 2.5Mbps, 1.12GB/h, that is still too much.

Could you modify the firmware to be able to set up/down QoS limit by an absolute value, starting i.e.from 1 kbps? I'll set it to 100kbps up and 250kbps down, but it would useful for other applications.

Another issue is the difficulty in selecting the right ports in QoS. It would be wonderful if I could also select the application by name. At the moment, I see only a few services, but I don't see applications like Teams.

Thanks

Gianluca

@Bimalbemal

Hi, What is your hardware and firmware version?

May I know why you need this firmware?

@Bimalbemal

Do you also have the QoS limit problem? We are talking about that!
