M7350 keeps disconnecting
Hi,
I'm using M7350 since a couple of weeks now and I can't get my devices to use it without being disconnected every 5 minutes sometimes. It's like short disconnections (about a couple of seconds each) where nothing is available even the router's management page is not accessible (http://tplinkmifi.net/).
Each time I'm losing connection I've such kind of entires in the M7350 system log:
What does "Current channel is not save, restart Wlan to avoid" mean exactly ?
It looks like M7350 keeps switching from a channel to another over and over again which make connexions unstable.
By the way I tried to force the channel number in settings but no matter what, when I get back to the "Wireless Basic Settings" section I see errors like :
Wi-Fi channel has switched to 11 to avoid interference between Wi-Fi and LTE.
So how I can stop M7350 to switch channels over and over again and force it to a specific number ?
Thank you

@jails and All,
Thank you very much for your feedback.

Yesterday I tried to force the channel number to 11 since it was the only one who didn't end up to a warning message in "Wireless Basic Settings".
But no matter what this morning M7350 switched to the channel 7
Wi-Fi channel has switched to 7 to avoid interference between Wi-Fi and LTE.
I'm living in an apartment with a lot of Wifi networks available around (about 15) so this policy of switching channels automatically when interferences are detected, even when we explicitly force for a specific channel number, make my M7350 kinda useless.
By the way, when I set my android phone as Wifi Hotspot, there's no channel option but it's working and connections are stable.

Hi @TP-Link, thank you for keeping me updated on this issue.
Indeed I've another 4G LTE modem (which is working great with the same SIM card by the way) so I can wait.
Do you think it's more a matter of weeks or a matter of months for the beta firmware going out ?

Hi, I just got the firmware and sent it via private message.
Please let me know whether it worked or not.
Thank you.

hello,
my M7200 rev3 shows the same phenomenon. Firmware is up to date. I was not able to correct the errors, same strategy as yours - my "solution" is: I use the 7200 as plain modem connected to an old AVM FritzBox (USB-tethering). Client devices then connect to the Fritz Router via cable or wlan. Works fine ;-)

Hi, what is the model number of your TP-Link device?
Can you check whether your device is included in the recommended solution above?
Thank you.

I have a v6.2 model. This 20211111 firmware solved the WiFi disconnecting problem. I've set the WiFI channel to 11 and disabled the WPS and no more disconnecting for me.
Thank you very much for this improved FW.

Hi,
I have the same exact problem, with a M7200 device (disconnections, "Current channel is not save ,restart Wlan to avoid" and related errors, etc.). I have a lot of other wifi networks around me.
Some details about my device:
Model: M7200
Firmware Version: 2.0.6 Build 201020 Rel.1008n
Hardware Version: M7200(EU) v2.0
My firmware is up-to-date, from what the "Firmware Update" page says...
Should I try one of the firmwares you proposed above? Is there anything more recent now?
Thanks a lot.
