2.4ghz Archer C6 slow 0.2mb/s internet speed
Extremely slow speed on 2.4ghz.
On 5ghz I have 100mbs. But on 2.4 I can't even have 1mbs.
There is hardly any interference with other gadgets.
I have 2 of these routers one on my mother's in law and other on my mother's. And both of them have the same problem.
I have tried with channel width 40, auto, smart connect on and off. Don't know what to do next.
I'm thinking of returning the routers.

If only the 2.4G connection is slow, it's quite possible that the 2.4G band around you is highly congested. You can check that by installing an app like Wi-Fi Analyzer on your phone or laptop and test, then set a channel with less congestion according to the test results on the C6.
Check this troubleshooting article for more suggestions:

Additionally, you can try installing the beta firmware we provided in the below thread, then disable the Onemesh function to monitor the 2.4G speed again:

@Kevin_Z well I'm glued to the router and it doesn't get over 1mbs.
Also the router is on ap mode and I can't turn off one mesh.
Beta firmware didn't help.

Both Archer C6 are working in AP mode in the two locations? What if you change it to Router mode, will the speed be good or normal?
Is the 2.4G wireless network of the main router enabled? Try enabling it, and connect the devices to that network, then monitor the speed, show us some screenshots of the speedtest results if possible.

Hardware ver: 3.2
Firmware : V3.20_210513
2.4Ghz is super slow on a 300Mpbs connection. 5G works perfect even long distance.
Tested with device next to the router 2.4Ghz gives 5Mbps on a 300Mbps line.
Please help what can be done ?

Tried everything from Channel width, channel number etc. Toggling with smartconnect. Changing it to a router mode. Almost everything but 2.4Ghz just doesn't work. The 2.4Ghz speed is not even 1/10th of the actual download speed what it should be.

Hello, what are the client devices that you are testing the 2.4G speed? What are the system versions or OS versions? Be sure they are up-to-date, then check the link speed between the device and Archer C6 as follows:
https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2265/
I suggest you review the QoS settings on the C2300 again by following this guide:
https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/3069/
Is there a NAT Boost on the router web GUI? You can try to turn it off, then restart the router to confirm the speed again.
BTW, when did you purchase the router, and is this 2.4G speed always slow when you install it? Or does it happen recently?

Are there any other wireless devices that you can connect to the 2.4G network, then test the internet speed? As per the screenshot, it seems the channel width for the 2.4G network is on 20MHz, please try modifying it to 40MHz on the C6, choose a channel that with less congestion with others, then test again.
I would also suggest you restore the router to factory defaults, reconfigure it from scratch, DON'T change any advanced settings on the router, just set up the internet on it, then monitor the speed again.
