try fix channel to 6/11, security type as wpa2-psk AES and try again

And also try a good quality USB extension cable between the modem and the router.

Preferably one with a ferrite RF bead.

Cheers

I've got this exact same problem (connecting via EE 4G dongle in the UK). Same firmware version.

Tried all sorts of settings - different channels, different security types etc. - nothing works. I did manage to get around 4.5Mbps once when I explicitly set it to 40Mhz but this is still way below what it should be.

I've also tried with a 3m USB lead separating the device from the dongle - still no joy.

Issue appears to be specific to wifi as like khourshed it's fine with a wired ethernet cable.

I've got the exact same problem using the same firmware version and 4G EE USB dongle in the UK.

Tried all sorts of settings (different channels, different security settings) and all I can get is 2-4Mbps - normally closer to 2.

As with khourshed the wired ethernet connection is fine so it definitely looks to be a wifi issue.

Hoping this is a bug that can be fixed as wireless is the only option for me normally.
