Model: Archer AX6000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.4 Build 20210719 rel. 12163(5553)

Hello, I am looking for some assistance on connecting to a VPN. The service provider I use has me connecting to their modem through a PPPOE connection with my router. I tried to setup the router to connect to ExpressVPNs L2TP but that requires me to logout of the PPPOE and results in no connection. The router does not let me upload a OPENVPN file provided from ExpressVPN either. I've heard I could purchase another router and connect it to this router to utilize the L2TP but being I just purchased this router, I would like to exahaust my other options if any at all. Can someone help me out?

@luisandche

I am afraid it seems there is no short term solution for the Archer AX6000 model.

For the long term you can leave some feedback here https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/175102 and if you are really lucky, then maybe one day TP-Link might decide to release a firmware update that adds an OpenVPN client option.
