  @Kevin_Z

I'll be waiting eagerly for the update then.

No worry, these are the joys of beta testing.

  @Kevin_Z

Good evening,

Thanks for keeping the track of this. I've tried to download the new FW but unfortunately the link is inactive. The only active link i can see is for AX6000. Is this the one you are referring to or was the correct one removed?

Thanks beforehand.

  @lphoenixl

There is an issue with the beta FW for the Ax11000 V1.0.

TP-link is fixing that.

I can confirm what @AX11000 has posted - the 1.3.0 firmware crashes the first 5GHz band, and, worse still, prohibits you from loading any other firmware version.

You should feel lucky that you missed it.wink

Hopefully we'll get a working version soon.

  @Kevin_Z

Aside from the 5 GHz problem and it becoming impossible to downgrade the firmware, version 1.3.0 also weakens the connection of 2.4 GHz devices.

For example my printer, which hitherto had a stable connection of around 65 Mbps on various firmwares, now has this (or less):

  @Kevin_Z

And another thing...

I have had a network location added to my desktop since I don't remember when, certainly for the two plus years I've been using the AX11000.

Basically, it comprises the two disks that I've attached to the router and allows me to access them when I'm away from home.

However, whatever was introduced to the 1.3.0 firmware stopped me from using this location, it always comes up as detached or otherwise unavailable. Nothing helps here, not even resetting the router.
