TP-Link M7650 keeps rebooting on 4G+
Hello,
I have a TP-Link M7650 MiFi that works on 3G but keeps rebooting when switched to 4G (same on 4G only or 4G preferred).
The same SIM card works without problem on my Android mobile in 4G mode.
HW Version is V1.1.
I tried multiple times to reset the device but the result is the same.
Does anyone have an idea of the possible cause?
Could it be that the device does not support the specific mobile operator (sim card) or that the connection is rejected by the operator?
Thanks in advance.

Can we have some details about the issue "keeps rebooting when switched to 4G"? What is the phenomenon that you can observe when the issue happens.
BTW, who is your ISP? Is it possible to test with another 4G SIM card from another carrier?

As soon as the device boots-up and connects to the carrier network ( I can see on the device screen that it connects in 4G+ mode) after some time it shuts down and restarts.
Sometimes it works longer (30-60 seconds) and sometimes as soon as it connects to the carrier it restarts.
When using the same SIM card in 3G mode it works without problem (sometimes it gives me sufficient time to switch to 3G before rebooting).
The SIM card is a 4G capable because in my phone works without problem (Samsung S10).
My ISP (mobile carrier) is A1 (former VIP) in Croatia.
Recently I tested another 4G SIM from another carrier and it works.
If the problem is in not supported 4G band (frequency)... why the device cannot use only the supported ones and not restarting. The carrier should have 3 available frequency (800Mhz,1800Mhz,2100Mhz).
It looks to me that when under load.. the device starts aggregating multiple links and fails for some reason.
It would be nice to have the option to manually select which band/frequency to use.
Is there some option to see error logs?
Thx in advance.

Hi, if the router got rebooted, we will not be able to find the useful logs, as it would be cleared by the reboot.
Are you able to test the connection with another A1 SIM card? You can also reach out to the local tech support to check if they have other suggestions.
