Model: Archer MR600
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.3.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 210208 Rel.61056n

Hi,

I am using a EE 4G SIM Card in my TP-Link MR600 V2, and my ping on my PC (Ethernet) will spike up in to the millions for a few seconds and then go back to normal, but will drop me out of any games, etc that I am doing due to the massive delay. I have tried the SIM Card in the original EE Router that I was sent and I have no issues, it is only when I put the SIM Card in my MR600 V2. I contacted TP-Link support and they said to request a replacement from Amazon which I have done and it arrived today, but I am still having the same issues. I would like to use my MR600 V2 as I get faster speeds with it, but if I can't fix this ping issue I will just have to use the EE Router. I noticed that the TP-Link Router is Cat 6, and I am using a Cat 5e Ethernet Cable, does that matter?

If anyone could help me figure out what is going wrong it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

@AceGoat

Can we confirm how many devices are connected to the MR600 most of the time? Are they all having the same ping spike issue at some specific time? What if you try to remove some client devices from the network?

BTW, you can try to install the below beta firmware we provided here to disable the Onemesh feature on the MR600 if you wanna to give it a try:
