Firmware Version: 1.5.3

We have M5 AC1300, main connects to the modem. Another one upstairs.

 

The one connects to the modem keep dropping from the Internet every couple days, and the LED is Red color. I have to power off the M5 and restarted it every time.  It works after restarted, for another couple days.

 

We position the M5 vertically, away from other objects, because M5 bottom is hot.

 

Not sure what's the Version Number.

Firmware Version: 1.5.3 Build 20210203 Rel. 58223

 

Any ideas?

Hi, May I know who is your internet service provider?

When the main Deco turned red, Did you still get a valid IPv4 address under Deco APP>More>advanced>IPv4?

Have you ever checked with the ISP whether there is any maintenance arrangement recently?

I contacted the customer service, and manually updated to the Fireware to the latest version (manually installed, auto update won't find it). It has been three days, so far so good.

 

Besides that, I brought a timer and restart the Deco automatically, once a day.
