Archer VR600 can't connect to internet and won't firmware update
I can't get my Archer VR600 to connect to the internet. It just keep refreshing the network connection but does not connect. I've tried to manually update the firmware to the latest version from the TP-Link website but I just keep getting the error code 71211 Failed to upload upgrade file! Please confirm the correct file is selected. I've tired using MS Edge and Brave Browsers but its the same with both.

Use this guide to determine what's the region and the HW version of your device - device bottom sticker is usually the main source.
According to these findings you should choose the right FW file from the support site.
Keep in mind that in many cases you can't upload an older version of the FW to the device.

Have you extracted the ZIP file ? The actual file that has to be uploaded to the device is with an extension '.bin'.
If you have done that properly try with another browser for ex. Mozilla, Chrome, IE.
Here some FAQs.
Post the current FW version and the FW version you want to update to.

Hi, would you mind telling me what is your current firmware version and which firmware did you wish to update?
By the way, who is your internet service provider?
Thank you very much.

Current firmware version 0.4.0 0.9.1 v0074.0 Build 200701 Beta.71362n
hardware version Archer VR600 v2 00000000
Updating to firmware version Archer VR600(EU)_V2_200226
I redownloaded the file and the update worked this time and managed to get it connected to the internet.
