Region : Netherlands

Model : TL-WR1043ND

Hardware Version : V1

Firmware Version : 3.13.12 Build 120405 Rel.33996n

ISP : onsneteindhoven

I bought my router 2 days ago and i am having trouble with it.
Every 60 seconds this shows up in the system log of my router:

143 Mar 3 12:24:49 DHCP NOTICE Dynamic IP(DHCP Client) obtained an IP successfully
142 Mar 3 12:24:49 DHCP NOTICE DHCPC:GET ip:589f4ffa mask:fffffc00 gateway:589f4c01 dns1:589f01c8 dns2:589f01c9 static route:0
141 Mar 3 12:24:49 DHCP NOTICE DHCPC Recv ACK from server 589f4c01 with ip 589f4ffa lease time 120
140 Mar 3 12:24:48 DHCP NOTICE DHCPC Send REQUEST to server 589f4c01 with request ip 589f4ffa

My connection also drops for 4-5 seconds and then it’s good for 50 seconds and then this happens again. The connection drops on all wireless and wired connections.
Does anyone know how I can solve this?

How about reset the router? Perhaps you can also try to use a static IP address on the client.:)

I tried to reset it serveral times, but the problem stays. And my router couldn't recognize static ip. When i change my settings to static ip al the values go to 0. And when i click on detect is says DynamicIp.

Same issue here, have tried a reboot/reset/factory reset all to no avail.
Disconnects for up to 2 seconds every minute with almost the same log entries.
I have switched over to google dns and back without any changes.

I'm currently in a conversation with customer support, but I don't get the feeling I'm getting anywhere with it.
Mainly just a back and forth of advice/reply.
Anyway I'll keep you informed in case something useful comes out =S

From a long conversation with customer support they eventually suggested me to just get it repaired. Since I think it might be a firmware issue that will probably be wasting my time, but I'll try it anyway. That's as far as I am now.

Thank you for your answer. I contacted the original topic starter and he solved the problem by installing firmware from a third party (DD-WRT). I tried to install the firmware on the router and I don't have any connection drops anymore!

I don't think your router needs to be replaced, this is just some error in the firmware.
