Model: Archer TX3000E
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hello,
The subject has already been mentioned with other adapter models but the proposed solutions did not work for me ...
I have the tx300e and I get around 30 Mbps while with my smartphone I get around 280Mbps in the same room.

However, I did the test with the person who sold me the adapter and I had better speeds on my pc than on my smartphone ...

Guess it's a router / adapter setup problem but I can't seem to find the right one.

Help would be welcome

Hello,
I have received the notification that you have created a support ticket for my issue and I thank you for it.
But I was able to find (a start) a solution.
Indeed, when I installed the hardware, I was also connected by ethernet cable and Windows automatically installed version 22.0.6 of the driver. I downloaded version 22.0.0 which is for download from the tplink website but I was unable to install it because Windows says there is a higher version already installed. And I noticed that the wifi worked (before realizing that the speed was abnormally slow on the 5ghz).
Finally by looking a little I was able to find that the version of the driver could be the cause of my problem and I was able to downgrade to a version prior to 22.0.0 (I no longer have the exact figure in mind) and I noticed that the speed was now a little over 450 Mbps, which seems more correct to me.
But I'm now trying to downgrade to 22.0.0 which I think should be the best version for my hardware, but Windows keeps saying there is a higher version installed. Anyway, I think this issue can be closed and thank you for taking it into consideration.

@Borris974

Hello,  please set up different SSIDs for router's 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz, and connect to 5Ghz Wi-Fi when test the speed on your PC.

You could try different 5Ghz channel and higher channel width on main router and see if speed gets better.

If speed is still slow, can you share the speedtest result of 5Ghz on PC and cell phone, and wireless link speed mentioned in the last part of this FAQ.

How to improve the speed of TP-Link wireless adapters?

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/709/

May I know the model of your router, and can you send us a photo of router's 5Ghz wireless settings?

I tried differents chanels but still slow wifi on 5ghz. The bandwiths are maximum for both 2.4 and 5ghz.

I have also tried putting my pc in different places and always the same bitrate.
I did the test on my old laptop with a Dual Band Wireless-AC 3168NGW card, and I get better speed with it.

@Borris974 Thanks for sharing the update and glad to hear that the official driver helps with the problem.

It is recommended to  keep using that driver and observe the performance.  You may try the latest intel driver (for now is *22.40.0) if y like  to give a try.
