Model: Archer TX3000E
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Unknown

On 29 December 2020 I bought the Archer TX3000E to setup Wi-Fi hotspots from my desktop, connect to Wi-Fi sources and also provide bluetooth functionality. I initially downloaded the drivers from the official sources, since I do not have a disc drive.

3. https://static.tp-link.com/2019/201908/20190816/Archer-TX3000E(UN)_V1_190823_win10_WiFi.zip

I downloaded all three, but only #2 seemed to work.

I currently have a working bluetooth connection, but further testing is required to ensure the bluetooth connection is useful.

I installed both 1 and 3 and restarted my PC, but the only new function I enabled was flight mode.

I uninstalled the intel Wi-Fi drivers and proceeded to create an ISO of the provided tp-link driver disc to see if using the provided drivers would make the difference.

Wi-Fi drivers installed were v21.10.1.

After restarting my PC, checking my adapters and perusing the device manager I still could not locate the Wi-Fi interface. See image below

Am I missing something?

@deadwifi

It seems you didn't install the driver successfully on the Windows 10, please check this: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2240/

Below is the latest driver for the adapter, you may give it a go and see if it helps:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/189347/-Wi-Fi-6-AX200

Install the adapter manually: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/920/

@Kevin_Z I switched between PCI-E slots, the last one was the winner. Kind of worrying, because this is a brand new mobo and every port should provide the same functionality... Might become a problem in future when the rest of the slots fill up.

Thanks!
