Hi,

 

Since a short time the Deco that a client has in the attic has been having issues. It causes huge spikes in Ping whenever the playstation boots up and whenever he goes live using Streamlabs OBS. This didn't used to happen and I can't figure out why. The moment his playstation turns on he gets over 1k ping on rocket league without the playstation on this just does not go up.

 

Hope someone can help!

Hi,

Was the play station connected to Deco via Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi?

--if it is over Wi-Fi, please try to disable the Mesh technology of the play station on the Deco App;

@TP-Link we tried both WiFi and ethernet they both caused the same issue

Hi，

Could you please still connect the Streamlabs OBS and PS4 via Ethernet cable to the Deco P9 and save some screenshots of the ping spikes to us?

At the same time, Can I have a picture of the network diagram/topology of your Deco system, such as their location and how they are connected to each other;

By the way, may I know how much of your internet bandwidth?

After that, I would like to forward your case to the senior engineers for further assistance.
