ethernet connection ON, WI-FI connection OFF
Hello, for the most of the time, I need to switch off WI-FI connection and leaving active ethernet connection. How to set up my extender ?

@giobin Hello,
You range extender uses a new web UI and could not switch RE 's Wi-Fi off completely but you could hide your SSID if that works for your in some extent.
For setup:
1> login range extender via "tplinkreapeater.net" , go to Wireless
2> Connect to Host Network--> scan for your host WiFi and put in router's wifi password
3> extended network--> toggle " Hide SSID broadcast"
4> Save

Do you want to connect RE to router wirelessly, and RE --- computer by cable?
You could set up range extender through Quick set up as the normal way, and login to extender web page again, go to Settings and disable the extended 2.4Ghz and see if that works :

If your page looks different, may I know the firmware & hardware version of your TL-WA855RE?
