DHCP Address reservation VS IP&MAC Binding

Model: Archer C6

Hardware Version: V2

Firmware Version: 1.3.6

Whats the difference for setting a "determined" IP for a device between these two?

1. Network -> DHCP Server -> Address Reservation

Only the first way (1) seems to work like i would expect it to.
