What is the point of the AC11000 features when you lose them aftet NAT Fowarding
I have an Archer AC11000 which I specifically bought for its gaming features in the hope it would give me an edge and reduce my lag playing on my Xbox
I'm based in the UK and every single piece of advice and instruction is based around the US so I don't know if the setup I have would be the same in the US but the problem I have is my ISP is Virgin Media and I have to use their issued Modem Router for the fibre optic connection. I hook up the AC11000 and immediately run into a Double NAT type detected issue and all the help I can find suggests changing my Router to NAT Forwarding.
This solved the double nat issue but I've lost all the features that came with this Router, I intended to solely put my xbox on the 5G Gaming channel so my gaming wasn't interuppted but now I don't get a choice, everything uses the one 5G channel.
Should I just take this very expensive Router back to the shop and buy a cheaper one that will do exactly the same job?
Any help from a UK based person who knows a lot more than me?
