Hi my extender has connected and boosted the WiFi signal but it says it's an unsecured network.
Please reset the range extender first (with device powered on,use a pin to push the pin hole for 8-10secs until all the Leds flash once) , refer to this instruction and setup RE into AP Mode:https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/3020/
Then wire your RE to main router by cable, and check if Inter works on the extender
