Model: Archer MR200
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version:

I have a MR200. My main internet connection is VDSL, and I want a backup internet connection via 4G SIM.
According to the MR200 manual, "In wireless router mode, you can use 3G/4G network as a backup solution for internet access.".
Ok, so I configured the MR200 for wireless router mode and PPPoE on the wan interface.

Now the problem: the VDSL modem has its own IP address for management, on a different subnet than LAN. How can I reach it?

See the following diagram: I need to reach 192.168.53.254 from a browser in the LAN. The only way I know is to assing a fixed IP address on the MR200 WAN interface, without an associated gateway. But it seems not to be possible with the MR200.

Which one is the correct solution to manage the VDSL router from the LAN ?

If the VDSL modem is in bridge mode, I'm afraid you cannot access its web interface directly by entering 192.168.53.254. You need to assign a static IP address such as 192.168.53.100, subnet as 255.255.255.0 on the computer, connect it directly to the LAN port of the VDSL modem, then launch a browser and type in 192.168.53.254 to access it.
