I have set up my range extender and it shows up on my ASUS router client list but it does not show up to connect on my Iphone. Also 5G won't connected just 2.4 G

May I know how did you set up the RE650, via WPS button, web interface or Tether APP?
During the setup, have you changed the SSID of the RE650 in case it copied the same SSID of the home router?
Also during the setup of 5ghz, are you able to detect the 5ghz of Asus router but failed to connect at the end, or it is not even detected?
