Model: Archer D7
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.6.0 0.9.1 v002d.0 Build 160216 Rel.57110n

Hi all,

I'm not able to use the router with fiber of TIM (FTTC).

These are parameters of the provider:

  • PROTOCOL: PPPoE Routed (define as RFC 2516)
  • ENCAPSULATION: PTM
  • NAT: active
  • VLAN: 835

I think the problem is that there isn't the possibility to choice PTM for encapsulation so I guess it is not compatible with TIM fiber. Correct?

Thank you very much.

It is suggested to confirm this info with the local tech support, as they may understand this better, thank you.
