Archer VR2100 v1 keeps restarting about once or twice a day
I recently bought a Archer VR2100 v1 modem/router to replace my old one that failed after several years and for the most part it works except I notice every so often it'll restart itself. My old one held a stable connection and I've replaced all the cables and had a replacement one sent by Amazon but I'm finding the issue is with both routers. Is there some beta firmware I can try that has a fix for this as it looks like an extremely common issue with this model.
I should note that I have 2 separate friends that also purchased the same router and both are having the same issue so this is a widespread issue, the restarts typically take about 30 seconds but it does mean an interrupted connection so many users of this model may find they don't notice an issue if they aren't using it much.
I'm on firmware 1.1.0 0.9.1 v009e.0 Build 200116 Rel.60756n
So this is a bug in either the hardware or the firmware and one would hope that it can be fixed by firmware.

Well, please add me to the list of people who think this is rubbish.
Some of the reports of this issue go back ages but any new issue raised gets fed the same standard scripted answer which suggests trying the latest firmware, increasing ventilation, whatever.
Nowhere have i found tplink acknowledge this is an issue but it is so widespread they must be able to recreate it.
Why suggest trying new firmware if there are no fixes in it for this problem.
Ive had my router a week or two and when it crashes in the middle of streaming a film that is so annoying.
Throwing the log away when it re-boots is a genius idea as well.
