Cannot access LAN through OpenVPN connection
Cannot access LAN through OpenVPN connection
I've set up the OpenVPN server on the C3150 router and exported the configuration file. The client shows as connected when activated but I cannot access local files or even the IP of the router itself even though client access is set to "internet and home network". I've reset the router and tried both UDP/TCP with no success. Not sure how else to troubleshoot this as the connection starts up without any issue but actual LAN access is non-existent. Could somebody help me with this?

That sounds pretty straightforward.
I don't have any Mac computers, therefore I can't test this myself.
Can you actually "ping" any of the clients in your LAN network from the OpenVPN client? (I guess there must be some free apps available for the iPhone to do this)
The IP addresses of the clients are shown in the router's DHCP Client List.

Thank you @woozle, that is what I meant, sorry that I didn't make it clear.
When you connected to the OpenVPN Server, what is the IP address you can get on the outside PC or phone? There is actually no need to disable the security settings on the C3150 as mentioned also by woozle, just disable the firewall or anti-virus on the mac and the outside PC or phone.
If none of these helps, we would escalate the case to the engineers, they may follow it up then.
