Model: Archer C6
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hello,

I have an Archer C6, behind another router , connected to it over the blue "wan" ethernet port

I have been trying to configure it, o router mode with static IP config, for having a different subnet on de Archer than in the main router, but it was impossible to connect

The only way I can make it  give internet to their clients has been setting it like AP , but with this is impossible to set a different subnet

Is there any way  to connect throught the blue ethernet, and have a different network location?

EX: Main net:

  192.168.1.9/24

Archer:

  192.168.2.0/24

thank you

Try to configure in internet (WAN) settings of C6 with dynamic IP. Then on LAN settings configure the 192.168.2.1 static IP address. Check the DHCP server setting to be sure that it assigns addresses in the 192.168.2.0/24 network and the Prymary DNS address is 192.168.2.1. As a secondary DNS address you may put 1.1.1.1.
