hey i am interested in upgrading my current router to the new Archer AX1800 which has wifi 6 support. and i was wondering if its possible to save my c7 settings and move them over to the new router. i have a bunch of smart home devices which sits on my 2.4ghz network and i dont want to have to reconfigure them since there are lots of devices. so my question is if it would be somehow possible to take my settings and copy paste them on to the Archer AX1800

Hello, there's no straight forward procedure migrating configuration between different router models, i.e. backup C7 settings and restore them on AX20. So I would use for example notepad to copy the C7 settings and then paste them to AX20 accordingly. Or you could use WebUI interface of C7 on one PC while on another one (locally connected to AX20 only) to transfer them appropriately. Usually for smart home devices would be enough to make the AX20's Wi-Fi settings the same as in C7 router so they can re-connect with AX20 automatically.
