I can't read SMS with last firmware
I can't read SMS with last firmware
Hello,
a month ago I noticed never updated the firmware since I bought my 4G router, so I proceeded to check for updated. Obviously there was something new, so I updated to the last firmware, the 1.17.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 200526 Rel.36799n
Starting since that moment, I was not more able to see the SMS. I can see pages, I can see that there are new SMS, but I can't see the SMS. It is clearly visible in this screenshot.
What I have to do to fix the issue?
Thanks.

Hi @Bonnie1, if you cannot check SMS inbox on your MR200 anymore, please check the below beta firmware:
MR200(EU) V4: https://static.tp-link.com/2020/202009/20200914/LTE_GATEWAY_1.17.0_0.9.1_up_boot(200901)_2020-09-03_19.16.51.zip
When you try to upgrade the firmware, have you unzipped the file downloaded from the above link? You should choose the .bin file to upgrade. Also, please verify if your MR200 an EU version or not, which can be found on the label. Thanks.

@Sunshine I can't believe that I still can't read no-one new SMS on my 4G router. I hope that you understand that the mobile provider usually uses SMS to communicate if there are some problems with the SIM. So for me it's a serious problem!
I have 4 SMS that I can't read right now. So now I'm asking to myself if TP-Link is the right brand for me or not. Because in this moment I think that it is not. Maybe Would I must have choose another brand for a 4G router?

@Giulio Having the same issue as you, and here I see many others have the same problem. TP-Link has a beta firmware that fixes it, but it's in beta for a long time.
My next brand won't be TP-LINK at all.

Good to know that. Yes, we would push our developer to make it public and official, while we cannot provide an ETA now, sorry for that.

@Bonnie1 I installed the .bin file and now it fixed the issue.
But I'm partially happy. Happy because I fixed the issue. Not happy because I can't believe that TP-Link doesn't provide fixes quickly in cases like this. It's absurd that I had to create an account in a forum to find for a fix for an issue like this. I lost a lot of time!
