Connecting Deco M4 with TP-Link Archer C6 in mesh mode.
I already use an Archer C6 router but am moving into a bigger house which needs more coverage. I was thinking to buy 3 Deco M4s for the three bedrooms and use the Archer in the main living area/dining which is one big stretch of space. Is it possible to configure all four of them in mesh mode so that the devices will be seamlessly handed over between the access points?
I am thinking of a configuration like this:
Will the four devices talk to each other and work as one big mesh network? Or is there any other configuration/device that's better suited for this purpose?

Hello,
The Archer C6 and the Deco M4 are compatible with each other, we can actually connect or add the Deco M5 to your existing Archer C6 via a wired connection to extend the Wi-Fi range.
However, Deco can only build a mesh network with the Deco, it can't build a mesh network with the non-Deco devices. For more details, please refer to the below FAQ:

May it help~

Hi,
Internet via PPPOE -> Deco M5 -> Wireless to Archer C6, which is ok.
And Archer C6 needs to be on the wireless repeater mode;
Thank you very much.

@TP-Link thanks for the suggestion , it work but I can only choose 1 bandwidth . Either 2.5 MHz or 5 MHz.
Is it possible to enable both?

@EssB That sucks big time! I have the same devices, except I have the deco E5. I love my archer C6, i've built the mesh network with the deco devices, Wanted to add the archer as another tower. Nope. The sad thing is, that archer is actually capable of mesh network, but it has to be the main router. So this doesn't work for me. It could be at least hopefully done but via a Firmware upgrade. I mean, it should be. It is the same company. Is it too much to dream that all devices broadcast the same SSID?
