Model: Archer MR200
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 1.11.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 200325 Rel.56677n

I bought this router and it doesn't work with band 5!

I have loaded the beta of the firmware that allows the band change but band 5 is not in the list

I would like to know if there is any possibility of changing the band!

@djgabri

Good day.

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

For MR200, the Network Type is:

4G: FDD-LTE B1/B3/B7/B8/B20 (2100/1800/2600/900/800 MHz)

TDD-LTE B38/B39/B40/B41 (2600/1900/2300/2500 MHz)

3G: DC-HSPA+/HSPA+/HSPA/UMTS B1/B8 (2100/900 MHz)

There is no band 5 so I am afraid that MR200 v3 did not support band 5;

Thank you very much.

Firmware Version:‪1.0.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 200925 Rel.32374n Hardware Version:‪Archer MR200 v5 00000001 Is bands are restricted by hardware? Can we do any changes for making this router to support Band5?

@Agent404

I'm afraid not, this is limited by hardware. You can only choose the supported bands:

4G: FDD-LTE B1/B3/B7/B8/B20 (2100/1800/2600/900/800 MHz)
TDD-LTE B38/B39/B40/B41 (2600/1900/2300/2500 MHz)
3G: DC-HSPA+/HSPA+/HSPA/UMTS B1/B8 (2100/900 MHz)
