TP-Link AC750-RE200 - Cannot find the Wi-Fi network of Range Extender
Hello,
I have a RE200 AC750 Wi-Fi Range Extender. I am trying to use it after a long time. My problem is that when I plugin the extender, the thrid light (WI-Fi light) is not green or bliking at all. As a result, I cannot find the Wi-Fi network of the Range Extender in order to pair it with my modem.
Do you have any idea on what is the problem?

How long have you had the RE200 and when did the issue start?
Have you tried to do a factory reset on the RE200 by holding the reset pinhole for 10s?
After that, will you see Wi-Fi light lit up and the default SSID show up?

thanks for your reply. I have the extender for quite some time (i really don't remember for how many years) and th elast time i used it was some years before.,
I just noticed that the button that not gets green is the 5g and not the wifi (see also the pic below). But still I dont find the extender wifi. I did also a reset as you proposed but nothing changed.

Based on the attached pic, the power, Wi-Fi, 2.4ghz are lit up, normally you are supposed to see the Wi-Fi SSID.
So when you hold the reset pinhole(not the WPS button at the bottom), will you see all the lights turn on then off?
If still nothing happened, may I know where are you located?
At the back of the router, there is SN number and maybe you could send to me, we could check whether it was still under warranty or not;

Hi, the reset button is not working. When I press it (for one minute) no lights are blinking. It doesn't do anything.

In this way, I am afraid that this RE200 might be broken and out of warranty, and you might need to buy a new extender.

Here are some set up video for RE200 which you could give it a try:

If you met any trouble setting up range extender:
1>Please verify your Wi-Fi password by forgetting your Wi-Fi network on cell phone first :
Go to Settings-> WiFi on your phone, Tap (or Long press the router's WiFi name ->Forget / Delete the network
Please reconnect to your router wifi and it will ask for a password, will it accept your router password?
2> factory reset tp-link range extender : press the reset hole for 10 secs with RE powered on
On cell phone WIFI settings, connect to Range extender WiFi first ( do not connect to router wifi or and turn off mobile data)
3> follow instructions on Tether app step by step ( carefully examine the Wi-Fi password you have put in, and it is recommended to create a different SSID/WiFi name for RE
