TP-LINK RE200 (AC750) connect to the 5.8 network
Hi, recently I bought a tp-link RE200 and I cannot connect it to the 5.8Ghz network of my Technicolor DPC3848VE DOCSIS 3.0 Gateway router.
If I connect the repeater only to the 2.4 network it works, but if I also connect it to the 5.8 network or only at 5.8 and not at 2.4 it does not work.
In addition, I have a 300Mbs speed service and the repeater only reaches 10Mbs in the 2.4 and 60Mbs network in the 5.0 network, perhaps because of the same problem that I cannot connect to the router's 5.8.

Hello, thanks for your information.
It seems that the 5GHz has connected to the main router but no internet access. We have released a beta firmware which you can install and verify whether it works for you.
Click here to get the download link.
After that, you can test whether the speed becomes faster.
May it help.

Thanks for your update. Glad to hear that it works well.
As for the speed, the RE200 has the 100Mbps ethernet port, the wired speed from it won't be higher than 100Mbps; and the wireless speed depends on the wireless negotiation speed and the environment; Next to the RE200, with your client connected to the main router's wifi, what is the speed you can get then?
You can adjust the location of RE200 to give it a shot.
Good day.
