VPN Server missing on C80
Hi!
I just purchased Archer C80. When I went to the Advanced admin settings, I was expecting to see the VPN Server option as mentioned on https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1545/
https://d.pr/i/OgFbW1
However, there's no such option.
Am I doing something wrong or is it simply not supported on this router (even though it's in the docs)?

Also have the C80 Archer and need VPN - is the support for TP Link this bad! I should have got an Asus or Linksys instead.

what a massive bummer, bought this 75$ C80 router and it has the feature of an 20 buck one.
i expected waaaay more from TP-link. this might be my last tplink product aswell.

Is there any feedback yet?
Surely the relevant technical department would have provided an indication by now, wether a firmware update is even possible with the current C80 hardware, which would allow for the addition of a VPN capability?
And if it is possible, then surely they would have provided an ETA for when the firmware update would be available.
If either of the above scenarios has not happened, it would indicate poor interdepartmental communication from within TP-Link.
I would like an answer please! I don't want to waste money on a new router now, when in a few months time the VPN capability on the C80 may be available.
Myself and many other people around the world are looking forward to your response. Please don't pawn this off on local tech support as it has nothing to do with them.

Yes, I also want to know when it will come. C80 hasn't been updated for 2-3 months. I hope the V2 model doesn't come out. Otherwise, the update support will be cut off of the V1 model. @Joshua_G

There is an update available (Archer C80(US)_V1_210716) Published Date: 2021-08-24, but the VPN functionality is still not added. Maybe the C80 is not compatible?
